October 1, 2007 By Dr. Chetan 1 Comment

Now let us see that are the most dangerous oral conditions, which every one of us would surely want to avoid. Those oral conditions which are caused by viruses can be very much painful & are rarely fully removed from the body. However, there is an effective therapy that can treat some of the conditions & suppress the chances of increasing in future.

Herpes simplex virus causes blisters on the lips, & this is fairly common among all the people. In addition to these blisters appearing on the lips, they can appear within the mouth also as bubbles on the gums & on the roof of the mouth. They also appear on the backside or on the sides of the tongue or cheeks.

They can even occur along with fever, & loss of appetite. Herpes zoster virus is a similar kind of virus that causes chicken pox. The outburst produces blisters on the skin or within the mouth. Oral cuts also begin as bubbles, but later on they burst to form ulcers. Human papilloma virus is the same virus that causes genital & anal warts.

In people suffering from HIV, these cuts can start to appear on the skin & even on the inner lining of the mouth. They look like typical warts within the mouth. It is not thought at the moment that oral warts can become cancerous. Surgical or laser removal is the most effective way to treat them, recurrence is common though. So these are some of the dangerous oral conditions.

One of the hard treatments can be done in root canal, also called RCT.
