Here is what i will be doing after my graduation, going to select one of the branches and planning to do my post-graduation from one of the following branches in Dentistry. Here are few -
Pedodontics – A branch of dentistry that deals with the treatment of children’s teeth.
Periodontics – A branch of dentistry that deals with the prevention, diagnosis and treatment of diseases of the tissues and structures that are present around the teeth. And also maintainance hygiene and aesthetics of the tissues.
Prosthodontics – A branch of dentistry that deals with the restoration and maintainance of oral structures with structures and materials such as dentures and bridges.
Orthodontics – A branch of dentistry dealing with the maintainance of the posture and straightening of the teeth, management of irregularities and abnormalities of teeth, jaw and oral structures.
Endodontics – A branch of dentistry that deals with the prevention, diagnosis and treatment of the diseases affecting dental pulp, root and periapical tissues.
Pediatric Dentistry – A branch of dentistry that deals with the treatment of diseases in children and adolescents.
Oral Surgery – A branch of dentistry that deals with the surgical procedures and treatment related to teeth, jaws, face and other oral tissues.
Oral Pathology – A branch of dentistry that deals with investigation of causes, processes and effects of the diseases that affect the oral and maxillofacial tissues.
