hi i too am on methadone and hadn’t even had a cavity for the first 17 years of my life. i have been on continuous for about a year and a half. i have had 2 extractions(abcessed)and have lost another 4 as well as several partial.They break more everyday. All websites say no connection but I can’t see how it can’t be related. I am in horrible pain all the time!

hi over the past 8 months 5 of my teeth have started 2 rot ive been on a methadone clinic now 9 months i was wondering if it is that has doe it to my teeth? i brush my teeth twice a day. + im afraid 2 go 2 the dentist! what shud i do? thanks

If you have a broken tooth or tooth fracture, contact the emergency dentist as soon as possible. If the tooth is knocked out, place it in a glass of milk, call our office, and there is a good chance some dentist can re-implant it. Try not to touch the root portion of the tooth, I had some prob similar either I contacted Sydney Dentist
