Dental Implants
Hello this is Varun, i’m posting here after a long time hope you remember me ………..
So now coming to Dental implants . These are the recent advancements in dentistry as recently as some 50 years ago , but around (936 - 1013) Albucasis placed ox bone in place of a missing tooth this was the first recorded placement of implants being placed.
Implant : it is an external devise which is inserted into the body for working as a part of the body . Which are used to replace missint teeth in the oral cavity
Dental Implants are the prosthesis used in dentistry where we replace the root of the tooth or the mandibular bone to make a support for Denture (or) artificial teeth .
HOLIDAY’S AT LAST
Hi people ,
At last our college has declared holidays after a lot of fuzz and our proffesors have given us a hell lot of work in the form of records n projects  and we are having a internal in Dental materials with the whole subject  as the  portion , and coming to the project 5 members are grouped into a team and we need to do a powerpoint presentation on the respective subject given , so we are in a tight spot wether to study or enjoy or holidays ………….Arrrgh
Maha Shivaratri
“Shivaratri” , this is a great festival of lord shiva.
Held on the 14th day of the dark half of Phalguna, which was on 26 Feb in 2006 n this year it falls on 16 Feb 2007. It is a great day for the devotes of lord shive (Saivites).
This festival day is celebrated by Meditation n Fasting . And most important Prayers are done by bathing the Shiva Linga with Milk and Honey , and Lord Shiva is offered ‘BILVA Leaves’ n Fruits n specially prepared foods.Offering of BIlva leaves is considered auspicious.
Devotes chant mantras n sing hymns , OM NAMAH SIVAYA is constantly said . After fasting in the morning in the night the prayers n chanting is continued , in telugu it is called ‘jagaram’.
“MIDDOCS FIESTA” freshers day
This will be the coolest party for some time now and it being the first ever party of our college is really exiting.
And the party organised by us became a grand sucess is really a dream , our good frnd Chetan who u all know was the anchor along with shrutika. and we had 6 anchors(3 pairs) on the whole using 3 languages for
Hindi : Chetan & Shrutika
Telugu: Rohan & Spandana
English: Kashif & Waffa
They all did a fabulous job.
and the best thing about the show was the alround performance by “Sam” he gave the Back ground music with his ‘keyboard’ and he did ‘mimicry’ and ‘danced’ and played a ‘Skit’………and wat not he was involved in every thing , i’m feeling joealous of him, he became a hero for the girls wuaaaahhhhh, and he really deserves it too.
